At last we have great weather and that means it is also the time to get back out to the fantastic Farmers Markets in the Valley of the Sun! The Farmers Market movement has really grown in the last decade and helped to put Phoenix on the foodie map! The markets are my favorite place to get inspired and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Here are a few of my favorites:
Phoenix Public Market
A great vibe, tons of vendors, food trucks and the Phoenix Public Market Cafe make this a great way to spend a Saturday morning.
Central and McKinley/Downtown Phoenix
721 N. Central, Phoenix
Saturdays 8am-1pm
Uptown Market
Great produce, breads, local meat, sweets, pasta and so much more. Chef demos throughout the season too!
Central and Bethany Home
5757 N Central Ave, Phoenix
Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8am-Noon
Old Town Farmers Market
My favorite produce vendor Bob McClendon of McClendon's Select has a great assortment of the regions best produce - and he is the greatest guy too.
The market also features fab breads, olive oil, grass feed meats, fresh eggs, and tons of specialty foods.
Brown and East First Avenue/Old Town Scottsdale
Saturdays 8am - 1pm
Gilbert Farmers Market
Lots of vendors including Crooked Sky Farms and the Farm at Agritopia plus fun vendors and great food. Located within walking distance of all the charming restaurants in downtown Gilbert!
Page Avenue and Ash/Downtown Gilbert
